In 2005, no one was bidding on Kleiner Burder at one of the cheaper auctions in Germany: pale chestnut, huge scar on his hind leg and just started under saddle with more than desirable training.

During his first year with me he had put up with a few more scars that didn't’t help his overall appearance but by now he is a great athlete. He makes my day with his loving, willing and affectionate demeanor. I thoroughly enjoy his phantastic walk, considerable canter and still developing trot.

Even though he is a little behind in training for his age due to all his injuries I know that one day he will be a reliable partner for upper level dressage.
